Frequently Asked Kids Club Questions

  • When does registration begin?

    Registration for the school year starts March 1 for the upcoming school year. For example, registration begins on 3/1/19 for the 19-20 school year.

    Summer Kids Club registration begins the Monday after Spring Break. For example, registration begins on 3/18/19 for the 2019 summer.

  • Kids Club has a waiting list, how do I get my child on it?

    Submit your Kids Club registration fully filled out as you would if there was no wait list. A staff member will contact you stating you are on the waiting list. The registration fee will not be charged until you are approved for care.

  • I no longer need Kids Club care, can I get a refund?

    This depends on when you plan on ending your Kids Club care. Kids Club needs at least 1 week's notice on any cancellations. If your monthly payment has already been charged, please email Joni at jmead@isd2144.org and state your ending date and reason for ending.  All fees after your ending date (given it's at least 1 or more week's away) will be refunded back to your credit card or put as a credit on your family account to be used towards future care.

  • I need to change my Kids Club schedule, how do I?

    Contact Joni at jmead@isd2144.org or 651-213-2602 for any schedule changes. Please notify us at least 1 week prior to any changes. There is no fee for the school year program and a $5 schedule change fee per family for the summer program.

  • Does Kids Club offer any financial assistance?

    Kids Club offers financial assistance for those who qualify.

    Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP)

    Contact the Chisago County Human Services to apply. Call 651-213-5200 or online. CCAP will pay for a portion of your Kids Club Childcare fees and you are responsible to pay for your copay, if applicable. You must register for Kids Club beforehand, pay the registration fee and note that you are applying. Once we receive approval, your registration fee will be refunded back to your account to be used towards your copays or future fees. A staff member will be in contact with you regarding setting up a payment plan for your copays (credit card is preferred). You are responsible for renewing and staying up-to-date with your copays and schedule.

  • Does Kids Club offer any discounts for Community Ed. classes?

    Kids Club offers discounts for after school Community Ed. classes only. You must be attending after school Kids Club on the same days as the class to qualify for the discount. Flyers are made available in the Kids Club rooms. Please fill that out and return to a Kids Club staff member.

  • How old does my child have to be to attend Kids Club?

  • I have a preschool-aged child, can I attend only Kids Club?

    No, you can only attend Kids Club if your child is also participating in Little Wildcats Preschool.
