In accordance with state law, Chisago Lakes School District is required to ensure that all school-age children living within the district's boundaries are being educated. The district's primary role is to be certain that all Homeschools comply with state law and to provide the necessary information and forms for each Homeschool to remain in compliance. Current Homeschool families in ISD #2144 will receive a letter in the fall from the district that will direct them to this website for sample forms requesting the information to be submitted for the 2020-2021 school year. For families looking at their options with the COVID-19 pandemic, here is a guide that tells you the difference between Home School and Distance Learning.
